Buffalo Chicken Wings
40 min
Medium
Ingredients
- 600 g AXEDUM chicken wings
- Green onion (for garnish)
- 50 g butter
- 1 tsp honey
- White cheese sauce or plain yogurt (for serving)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2/3 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 20 ml apple cider vinegar
- 10 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp RedHot cayenne pepper sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all the spices (or use a ready-made spice blend).
- Cut off the wing tips and split each wing at the joint. Mix them thoroughly with the spice blend, making sure they’re evenly coated.
- Lightly oil a baking tray and place the seasoned wings in it. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (430°F) for 25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan over low heat. Add vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, RedHot sauce, and honey. Stir until fully combined.
- Add the baked wings to the sauce and mix well to coat. Return the wings to the tray and place them in the turned-off (but still hot) oven for 10 minutes to allow the glaze to set.
- Finely chop the green onion. Arrange the wings on a platter and sprinkle the green onion over the top.
Serve with white yogurt sauce for a refreshing contrast. Enjoy your meal!
