This system includes poultry farms, a modern slaughterhouse, a feed mill, a high-performance incubator, and a meat processing plant, all operated with maximum responsibility and dedication.
1997
Company Foundation
In 1997, Axedum was founded, marking the beginning of an entrepreneurial journey full of courage, devotion, and success. Since then, this remarkable story has been written with unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence, each step of its evolution marked by extraordinary achievements and impressive transformations.
2006
Poultry Farm
In 2006, Grigore and Galina Cojocaru transformed a former Agricultural Cooperative for cattle breeding into a modern poultry farm, thus laying the foundation for Axedum farm and opening a new chapter in their entrepreneurial story.
2007
700 Hectares of Own Fields
In 2007, Axedum rented over 700 hectares of arable land, creating a closed-loop feed production system for chickens, further solidifying its position in the poultry industry.
2012
Feed Production
In 2012, the company invested in advanced agricultural technology and opened a feed production section. This initiative allowed for the production of superior quality feed, leading to better chicken meat products.
2013
8 More Halls
In 2013, the renovation and modernization of eight poultry houses were completed, equipped with advanced technology for temperature control, ventilation, and automated feeding, which improved production efficiency, chicken welfare, and adherence to quality and hygiene standards.
2014
1000 Hectares of Own Fields
In 2014, Axedum expanded its operations by acquiring and leasing approximately 1000 hectares of agricultural land for cereal cultivation. It also launched a new activity—vermiculture, producing organic fertilizer for use on its own fields, thus diversifying its portfolio and strengthening its commitment to sustainable agricultural practices.
2015
Sales Points
In 2015, Axedum opened a vast sales network under the Carne de Pui.md brand, covering the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova. This strategic expansion brought products closer to consumers, offering easy and convenient access to high-quality chicken meat and ensuring the constant availability of fresh products near their homes. Through its nationwide presence, Axedum solidified its reputation as a trusted brand.
2016
Slaughterhouse Acquisition
Axedum opened the country’s first poultry slaughterhouse, in accordance with European quality standards such as HACCP and ISO 22000. In addition, it inaugurated the company’s headquarters, providing optimal working conditions for all employees.
2017
New Visual Identity
The company adopted a new visual identity following a strategic rebranding, aimed at reflecting the company’s values and mission.
2018
Own Stores
In 2018, the new “Farmer’s Shop” concept was launched, bringing multiple advantages to customers by offering a modern and diversified shopping experience focused on fresh, high-quality products directly from the farm.
2019‑2022

2020‑2021
Incubator Construction
In 2020, Axedum made a significant leap by building the most advanced incubator in the Republic of Moldova.
2021
First Refrigeration Plant
Axedum implemented a modern CO2 cooling system, avoiding contact with water and preserving the quality of the products.
2023
Quality 10+
Axedum has established itself as one of the most important national producers. In the same year, it launched the production of chicken pâtés and various types of canned meats.
2024
Export to the EU
Axedum received authorization for the export of fresh chicken meat to the European Union, confirming its high standards of quality and food safety.
2024
The First Egg Production Poultry Farm
In 2024, we launched our first COD 1 egg production poultry farm, located in the heart of the Codrii forest. The hens are raised in natural conditions with access to fresh air, ensuring fresh and high-quality eggs.
